All The Way From Burbank To Manhattan Beach To Escape The Heat
With temperatures soaring, folks are heading to the beach to cool off and have fun. El Porto in Manhattan Beach is a great spot to hang out.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Burbank residents Rachel and Brandon were already headed to the beach in El Porto around 10 a.m. Sunday, looking to spend a fun day at the beach escaping the heat. The couple, bags of supplies and beach chair in hand, were fortunate enough to find a surfer who was leaving and managed to snag his parking space on a surface street.
Rachel said the last time they came to the beach in Manhattan Beach was about two weeks ago and that today they would spend the day on the beach and get in some swimming and playing in the waves. Manhattan Beach Patch caught up to them just west of Highland Avenue as they headed down El Porto Street to the ocean.
