Altered Trash PickUp Schedule Rest Of Week In Manhattan Beach

Waste Management & Athens Services did not operate on Thanksgiving Day in the City of Manhattan Beach. Here's the new schedule for the week.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Trash, recyclables and green materials are on a modified residential schedule in Manhattan Beach starting today [Friday, Nov. 27] due to yesterday's Thanksgiving holiday. Waste Management, the city's refuse servicer, observes the Thanksgiving holiday and did not pick up trash yesterday, moving the normal collection schedule forward by one day.

Yesterday's normal residential pickup has been moved to today [Friday, Nov. 27] and trash normally collected today [Friday, Nov. 27] will be collected tomorrow [Saturday, Nov. 28]. Questions on Waste Management's refuse service should be directed to the company directly at (310) 830-7100.

There was no street sweeping yesterday [Thursday, Nov. 26] and that regularly scheduled service will not be made up. All other sweeping days for the rest of the week will operate on the normal schedule and route. Questions regarding the city's street sweeping service should be directed to service provider Athens Services by calling them directly at (888) 336-6100.
