Avoid Vista Del Mar, Highland Avenue In Manhattan Beach
A low-hanging wire has closed Vista Del Mar in El Segundo and Highland Avenue in Manhattan Beach. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Vista del Mar in El Segundo to Highland Avenue at 45th Street in Manhattan Beach has been closed due to a low-hanging wire, said Sergeant Mike Sistoni of the Manhattan Beach police Department. The roadways are expected to remain closed for about two hours, he said, while Southern California Edison makes repairs.
Drivers in Manhattan Beach are advised not to attempt to take Highland Avenue north to head out of town since the road is closed. Drivers on Highland Avenue should take an alternative route such as Rosecrans Avenue to head out of Manhattan Beach.
