Big-Wave Surfer Greg ‘Da Bull’ Noll Has Died

The surfing legend, who developed an affinity for the ocean in Manhattan Beach, was 84, according to ABC News.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —Surfing legend Greg “Da Bull” Noll has died at the age of 84, according to a report from ABC News.

"Noll was born Greg Lawhead in San Diego on Feb. 11, 1937, later taking the last name of his stepfather, Ash Noll," the report said. "He moved to the surf town of Manhattan Beach with his mother when he was 3 and soon developed an affinity for the water."
