Blood Drive Friday, Sept. 25 At Kinecta In Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Kinecta Federal Credit Union is holding a Blood Drive this Friday, Sept. 25 in the parking lot of its main office in Manhattan Beach at 1440 Rosecrans Avenue. The mobile blood drive is in partnership with American Red Cross and will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

All blood drawn during this blood drive will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies. "Donors can expect to receive the results of their antibody test within one to two weeks through their Red Cross Blood Donor App or on the American Red Cross’ donor portal at RedCrossBlood.org. It will show either positive or negative,” said a representative for the American Red Cross.

Said Tracy Fairbanks, a community engagement specialist with Kinecta, "Kinecta partners with the American Red Cross to offer its employees and the community an opportunity to save lives by donating blood. As part of the campaign, a dedicated Kinecta employee volunteers their time throughout the campaign to promote the event leading up to the blood drive as well as welcome those donating blood the day of the event."
