Congregation Tikvat Jacob to Host Christmas Meal for Poor
Congregation Tikvat Jacob is collecting donations of clothing, toiletries, household goods, toys, and food for the less fortunate.
Congregation Tikvat Jacob in Manhattan Beach is collecting donations of clothing, toiletries, household goods, toys, and food in preparation for a Christmas Eve celebration for low-income and homeless South Bay and Beach Cities residents.
The meal will be held 2-4 pm Sunday, December 24, with food provided by the Zislis Group. The event is in partnership with Project: NEEDS outreach and food pantry at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Redondo Beach. Congregation Tikvat Jacob is also collecting clothing, toiletries, toys, and household items for the guests.
Those wishing to help can drop off their donations at Congregation Tikvat Jacob, 1829 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Manhattan Beach, until noon on December 24. More information can be found at www.ctjmb.org.
