Decorate Your Pumpkin, Drop It Off, Shop Downtown Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Have fun decorating pumpkins and enter them this Sunday, Oct. 25 in the Downtown Manhattan Beach Business + Professional Association's contest with the Manhattan Beach Parks & Recreation Department. Prizes include $25 gift certificates for Tabula Rasa Essentials, Gum Tree, Rock'n Fish, Right Tribe, Bo Bridges Gallery and the Manhattan Beach Farmers Market.

Decorating categories are

• Best Kids Creation [Ages 10 and under] — $25 for Gum Tree
• Good Enough to Eat — $25 for Rock'N Fish
• Most Artistic — $25 for Bo Bridges Gallery
• Most Original — $25 for Right Tribe
• Scariest — $25 for Manhattan Beach Farmers Market
• Local Love for Manhattan Beach — $25 for Tabula Rasa Essentials

Enter your pumpkin(s) at the "pumpkin valet" at Metlox Plaza, corner of 13th Street and Morningside Drive, between 12 noon and 5 p.m. this Sunday. Face coverings and social distancing are required, according to event organizers. Downtown Manhattan Beach businesses welcome you to shop, dine, walk around, check them out and have some family fun.

Photos of the pumpkin entries will be uploaded to the Downtown Manhattan Beach Business + Professional Association website so you can begin to cast your votes by 4 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 31. Winners were be announced the first week in November.
