El Camino College Offers Summer Kid’s College Program
The six-week program consists of three two-week sessions to choose from and is for children entering grades one through 12.

From El Camino College: The El Camino College Community Education department will present its annual summer Kid’s College program for children entering grades one through 12. The six-week program consists of three two-week morning and/or afternoon weekday sessions to choose from, in addition to several one-day Saturday sessions between June 26 and August 5.
Kid’s College not-for-credit workshops, one-day Saturday camps and weekday classes are designed for serious summer fun with an emphasis on inspiring a sense of wonder and imagination for learning.
Classes offered this summer include: Kid’s College Chefs, Minecraft Designers, Science Explorations, Cartooning & Drawing, Academic Chess, Kid’s Rock Guitar Camp, and Musical Theatre Camp for grades one through five.

For grades six through eight, students can try Video Game Animation, Creative Writing, The Voice/Singing Class, and basketball and volleyball camps. High school students may enroll in SAT Boot Camp, Math Tutoring, and Writing the High School Essay, among other selections.
Morning and/or afternoon classes are available. Lunch supervision is provided for students in grades one through five who are enrolled for the full day. All classes are held on the El Camino College campus. Registration is required. Parents are encouraged to enroll now as classes fill quickly.
