Former Trojan Coach Pete Carroll Lists Manhattan Beach Home

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Former Trojan coach Pete Carroll has put his Manhattan Beach home on the market for close to $2 million.

The 1,200-square-foot home is only about a block from the Strand, north of Manhattan Beach Pier. The home features two bedrooms, 1.75 bathrooms, a breakfast nook, galley kitchen, family room.

The front-facing window has a peek-a-boo view of the water from the living room and the bottom floor has french doors that lead to the outdoor brick patio.

Carroll coached the Trojans from 2001-2009, making USC a football powerhouse again. After leaving USC, Carroll coached the Seattle Seahawks to two NFC Championships and a Super Bowl.

Carroll bought the home in 1999 for $540,000. The median price for a single-family home in Manhattan Beach is $1.865 million, according to CoreLogic. The home lists for $1.999 million.
