Gunshots Fired In Manhattan Beach Into Vehicle At Residence Inn

Manhattan Beach police say there is no threat to the community and they are searching for the suspect in this "targeted shooting" at hotel.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Beach Police Department responded early this morning to a report of gunshots fired into an occupied vehicle at the Residence Inn on Sepulveda Boulevard. When police arrived around 3:14 a.m., officers found two people in the vehicle who were not hit by the gunfire. The suspect had already fled, said Manhattan Beach Police Public Information Sergeant Tim Zins.

MBPD says the incident was a "targeted shooting" and they are searching for the one outstanding suspect. Zins said there is no threat to the community.
