MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Waste Management will begin recycling holiday trees in Manhattan Beach on Monday, Dec. 28 and continue through Friday, Jan. 15, according to information on the City of Manhattan Beach website.

Trees must be less than 7 feet long or cut into 7-foot sections (neither Waste Management nor City employees can cut trees for residents). All lights, decorations, tinsel and ornaments should be removed as well as the metal stands.

Trees that are being recycled should be placed next to the resident's trash/recycle/green carts before 7:30 a.m. on their regular collection date for free pick-up and recycling.
