Ike's El Segundo Grand Opening; Manhattan Beach Store On Its Way

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach sandwich fans can partake of what will arrive in Manhattan Beach later this year as Ike's Love & Sandwiches celebrates its El Segundo grand opening this week. The cult-favorite sandwich shop sits at 460 North Pacific Coast Highway and will operate from 10 a.m.–9:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.–8:30p.m. Sunday.

On Thursday, Feb. 11, the first 25 people in Ike's socially distant outdoor line will each receive a free sandwich and limited edition T-shirt. After that, all 800+ sandwiches on the menu will be available for only $6 that day.

Ike Shehadeh, the founder and face behind the cartoon logo who is known as the "Sandwich Wizard," will be onsite for a meet and greet all day. Ike was also in Manhattan Beach today, attending the ground breaking of his MB location. El Segundo Ike's guests who post a photo on social media featuring Ike’s new “Instagram Wall” and tag #ikeselsegundo will be entered to win free sandwiches for a year.

The beloved sandwich shop, known for its world-famous Dutch Crunch bread and Ike’s secret “Dirty Sauce,” is expanding, with additional Southern California locations slated to open over the next 3 months in Manhattan Beach, Carson, Del Mar, Culver City, and USC. The El Segundo location is Ike's 71st.
