Manhattan Beach: 405 Freeway Closure In Inglewood With SigAlert

Pedestrian has been hit and killed, according to the California Highway Patrol, which has issued a SigAlert for the 405 Freeway northbound.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday morning on the collector road for the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway at Century Boulevard in Inglewood, police said.

The incident was reported at 5:02 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Peter Nicholson.

A SigAlert was issued at 5:32 a.m. shutting down the collector road, Nicholson said.

He was unable to release a description of the deceased pedestrian, including gender and age.
