Manhattan Beach Among Best Places To Retire On West Coast
Manhattan Beach came in at #11, according to a new report from Stacker.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —What better place to spend your golden years than Manhattan Beach? You just can't beat the sunshine, gorgeous weather, and spectacular views.
Working with Niche, Stacker just released its Best Places to Retire on the West Coast list and ranks Manhattan Beach at #11. According to the report, "Few places in Los Angeles County are as scenic as Manhattan Beach. Walk along the Strand to check out some of the stunning ocean-side homes and sweeping beach views. Grab a bite or shop at boutiques in the bustling downtown area. And, whether seeking a getaway or welcoming visitors, Los Angeles International Airport is just a 5-mile drive."
The data was gathered from Niche 2020 rankings and was based on the number of retirees in any given area; access to health care; weather; restaurants and other amenities; entertainment options; and crime rates. Only locales in California, Oregon, and Washington were considered for the report.
