Manhattan Beach Company Signs Deal To Make First Car For Apple
Fisker has signed a deal with Foxconn to produce Apple's first car, according to Collision Repair Magazine.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Fisker, the Manhattan Beach-based company that makes sustainable electric cars, has just signed a deal with Foxconn to produce Apple's first car, according to Collision Repair Magazine.
Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer and makers of the iPhone, signed the deal with Fisker to begin making electronic vehicles in 2023, the magazine reports.
“The collaboration between our firms means that it will only take 24 months to produce the next Fisker vehicle from research and development to production, reducing half of the traditional time required to bring a new vehicle to market,” Young-way Liu, Foxconn Technology Group Chairmansaid in the article.
