MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The City of Manhattan Beach has gone Grinch and Bah, humbug on the Santa Golf Cart Parade previously scheduled for this Sunday, Nov 15. Officials say the cancellation is in keeping with guidelines and restrictions put forth by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health due to COVID-19.

The parade was to be part of this weekend's 26th Annual Holiday Open House, which is still happening this Saturday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in downtown Manhattan Beach. Holiday music will be heard throughout downtown and there is a scavenger hunt with prizes throughout the weekend. From 12 noon-2 p.m. both days, Santa will offer drive-by greetings you won't want the kids [and fun adults] to miss! Shop windows and dining decks are going festive for the season so join the fun downtown this weekend!
