Manhattan Beach: Handel's Ice Cream Coming To Manhattan Village
The franchise that boasts homemade ice cream is set to come to Manhattan Beach at Manhattan Village's new The Village Shops and Plaza area.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — As Manhattan Village continues its construction that will create an all-new shopping, dining and destination experience, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream has been announced as a new retail outlet that will take a space in Manhattan Village’s Village Shops and Plaza area.
The new Handel's location will be the franchised operation's 16th California location. The Village Shops and Plaza area in Manhattan Village is expected to open in 2021 and is an area that will include Silverlake Ramen, Sidecar Doughnut, and Sweetgreen.
The new Village Shops and Plaza area “redevelopment is a 53,300-square-foot expansion” that “will consist of curated open-air dining and retail space with a modern luxury feel that is Manhattan Beach," according to a press pamphlet. "An open-air Plaza will create a place for people to gather, socialize, and experience coastal living at its best.”
