Manhattan Beach Haunted House Goes Live Online Tonight

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — As with most everything in 2020, the Manhattan Beach Haunted House has gone virtual and will live stream its "Virtual Sleepy Hollow" tonight [Saturday, Oct. 31] from 6-9 p.m. The free event will feature a "Living Monster Display" accompanied by an electronic dance music [EDM] soundtrack.

The "Resident DJ of Darkness," @DJArtrancio / Instagram@Artrancio / Twitter@Artrancio, will be at the switch with a special guest performance by Kati Lovejoy, aka Alibra. The evening will be hosted by Bill Higgins, aka "Higgybod Crane." The music for the show is listed on Spotify.

The original Manhattan Beach Haunted lasted from 2003 -2017 and was "an over-the-top, Hollywood-inspired haunted house with a variety of themes, such as Pirates, Batman, clowns, witches, Walking Dead, Alive In Wonderland, Transformers, Land of the Lost and many others.

In 2018, the team behind Manhattan Beach Haunted House changed its name to Manhattan Beach Haunted House Designs and began offering its haunted house to clients for private parties and events throughout the South Bay.

The man behind this Haunted Houses is South Bay resident and drummer Mark DiBenedetto, who has long put on a Haunted House at his friend's 10th Street house in East Manhattan Beach. DeBenedetto said he tries to keep the haunts "somewhat kid friendly."
