Manhattan Beach: Manhattan Village Shopping Event; RSVP Online

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Village Shopping Center is kicking off the holiday season with "A Merry Little Shop & Stroll" today [Saturday, Dec. 5] from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Shoppers are asked to register online in advance to receive a "jolly swag bag" and "a passport guide with joyful discounts."

Manhattan Village calls the event a "safe and COVID-19 cautious way" to begin shopping and enjoying the holiday season. Guests who RSVP are also eligible for a $10 gift card when they spend $100 and are one of the first 150 guests.

In addition, Manhattan Village is putting the emphasis on fun. "‘Tis the season to rock ugly sweaters," say shopping center officials. "Every guest who shows up wearing an ugly sweater, will be entered to win a grand prize!

"Want a sneak peek of what you’ll be gifted [when you RSVP and receive a dining passport]? How does 20% off of one item at Francesca’s, 15% off a $45 or more service at Holly & Hudson, personalized product samples from Kiehl’s and so much more! A VIP Parking area for attendees will be available on the top level of the parking terrace across from Corner Bakery."

The shopping center team "will be following strict COVID-19 compliant rules to keep guests and staff safe. You and your guests will need to choose a time slot that works best for you. The choices are 11 a.m.–2 p.m., 12-3 p.m. or 1–4 p.m. to keep the flow socially distant.

"Make sure to show up to the time slot you selected! If you miss your time slot, entrance will be determined at the time of arrival and you may miss out on your swag bag. Guests will be checked in at the entrance by Holly & Hudson. Temperature checks will be mandatory at check in for all. Masks will be required to be worn at all times by guests and staff. You will receive your passport guide and swag bag once checked in and will carry on to shop and stroll!"
