Manhattan Beach Pier Lights Up On Valentine's Day: Photo Of Day

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The City of Manhattan Beach lit up the Manhattan Beach Pier with a color scheme fit for Valentine's Day on Sunday, Feb. 14. Ever the morning guy, #Photowalks series author Jefferson Graham trekked to the pier to grab this shot before the lights went dark until Sunday night.

Graham, who recently retired from his career at USA Today, has been wandering the streets of Manhattan Beach and nearby Hermosa Beach to capture photos for his series. After posting online that he wouldn't shoot the iconic pier for a month [the pier is a must for photogs who gravitate to it daily for stunning shots], Graham had to break that promise when Manhattan Beach Patch CommunityPublisher Liz Spear tipped him off about the pier lights.
