The vehicle was reported stolen by the Los Angeles Police Department. The suspect has been arrested on multiple charges.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach Police officers arrested a man shortly after 1 p.m. today for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of burglary tools and possession of narcotics, said Officer Chris Ineguez, Public Information officer for the Manhattan Beach Police Department. The officers made the stop at Rosecrans and Pacific avenues in the Tree Section.
Ineguez said one of the city's license plate readers alerted officers to the vehicle's presence in Manhattan Beach. Officers began looking for the vehicle, found it and "effectively and safely made the stop," he told Manhattan Beach Patch.
