Manhattan Beach Police Arrest Vehicle Burglary, Robbery Suspects

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — In their latest crime report for Nov. 16-22, the Manhattan Beach Police Department reports arresting a robbery suspect as well as vehicle burglary suspects. The report also lists six auto thefts and one residential burglary, among other crimes.

The robbery took place in the 1300 block of Parkview Avenue; the vehicle burglary happened in the 1500 block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard. The residential burglary, in which tools were taken, happened in the 4300 block of The Strand, according to the report.

Six auto thefts took place from Tuesday, Nov. 17 through Sunday, Nov. 22 and happened in the following blocks and intersection areas

• 400 block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard
• 2200 block of Vista Drive
• 3200 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard
• 2300 block of Pacific Avenue
• Marine Avenue and North Sepulveda Boulevard
• 7th Street and North Valley Drive

In one reported auto theft, the victim left the car unlocked with the keys inside. In one incident, a motorcycle was taken and another incident reported was an "attempt."

The thefts occurred in the city from Nov. 16-22. Those included the thefts of two catalytic converters and one bike. Other thefts included two shoplifting incidents and one fraud.
