MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach Police have reopened areas previously cordoned off while they conducted an investigation into a car-to-car shooting that took place this morning [Sunday, Jan. 10]. A Manhattan Beach Patrol Officer who witnessed the shooting chased the suspects. Other police agencies assisted in officers making a felony stop of the suspect vehicle in the area of 2nd Street and Redondo Avenue.

Police arrested two suspects, not four as they'd previously reported, and recovered two guns. They say there are no outstanding suspects. Police are also checking area hospitals for any victims in the incident. The vehicle that was shot at left the scene, according to Manhattan Beach Police.

Police now report the shooting happened in the 1100 block of Meadows Avenue. In initial reports, they said the shooting took place in the area of Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Meadows Avenue.
