Manhattan Beach: Two Students Achieve Top 3% At Miami University

Manhattan Beach Mayor Suzanne Hadley's daughter is one of two students who have earned a top honor at Miami University for first semester.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Two Manhattan Beach undergraduate university students at Miami University have ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2020-21 and for doing so have been named to the President's list recognizing academic excellence.

Faith Hadley, daughter of Manhattan Beach Mayor Suzanne Hadley and former Assemblymember David Hadley, and Shae Cole Weiser earned the distinction.

Nationally recognized as one of the most outstanding undergraduate institutions, Miami University is a public university located in Oxford, Ohio. With a student body of nearly 19,000, Miami effectively combines a wide range of strong academic programs with faculty who love to teach and the personal attention ordinarily found only at much smaller institutions.
