Manhattan Beach's Alix Klineman Advances To Wilson Cup Final
Alix Klineman and April Ross are headed to another AVP title this weekend in the Wilson Cup. Championship game on now.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Alix Klineman of Manhattan Beach and her partner April Ross of Costa Mesa continue to go for the top, winning two matches yesterday and one this morning to advance ot the championship game in the AVP's Wilson Cup. The duo is playing now against the Canadian duo of Melissa Humana-Paredes and Sarah Pavan to claim the title. The score is 13-8 in favor of Klineman and Ross. The game can be watched live on Amazon Prime.
This morning, Klineman and Ross defeated Emily Day and Lauren Fendrick, who had advanced through the Qualifiers Friday and then beat Sara Hughes and Brandie Wilkerson yesterday but lost to Humana-Paredes and Pavan Saturday, as well, putting them up against Klineman and Ross this morning. Klineman and Ross took them down, 21-17 and 21-14.
