Manhunt On For Pistol-Whipping Manhattan Beach Robbery Suspects
Police are searching for suspects that pistol-whipped and robbed two different men the same night in Manhattan Beach.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach police are searching for suspects in two separate pistol-whipping robberies that both happened Tuesday night.
The first robbery happened at about 9:30 p.m. A man was walking near 19th Street and Ardmore Avenue when two suspects pistol-whipped him and robbed him of his personal items, the Manhattan Beach Police Department news release said. The two male suspects drove away in a dark grey vehicle. The Manhattan Beach Fire Department brought the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
Later that same evening at about 10:45 p.m., a man was robbed at gunpoint as he walked to his car near 10th Street and Aviation Boulevard. The victim was pistol-whipped and robbed by the suspects, who were described as three black males in dark clothing, MBPD said. The suspects were seen driving away from the area in a grey car.

Manhattan Beach police believe both crimes were committed by the same suspects.
