Monrovia To Host Veterans Day Ceremony To Honor Those Who Serve
A new plaque has been installed at the Monrovia Library Park to recognize all who served in the Vietnam War, the City said.
MONROVIA, CA — The City of Monrovia will celebrate Veterans Day with a ceremony to honor those who have served and are currently serving the country, the City announced Wednesday.
The ceremony will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday, November 11 at Monrovia Library Park. Parking is available at the Monrovia Community Center, at 119 W. Palm Avenue, along with street parking on Palm Avenue and Lime Avenue.
"In partnership with the American Legion Post 44, a new plaque has been installed at the Monrovia Library Park to recognize all the men and women who served in the Vietnam War," the City said. "Dedicated to recognizing the selfless service and valiant acts of our country’s veterans, the annual event is held to celebrate veterans of the community and their contribution to the preservation of our nation."
