More Than 2,000 Teachers, Staff Vaccinated In The South Bay
Beach Cities Health District has vaccinated more than 2,000 teachers and staff in the South Bay so far at its site in Manhattan Beach.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Beach Cities Health District has vaccinated more than 2,000 teachers and school staff so far at its Manhattan Beach site, officials told Patch.
The community health organization opened up the vaccination clinic at BCHD AdventurePlex, 1701 Marine Ave. earlier this month for educators at the closed POD location.
Volunteers at the site are vaccinating people from 11 South Bay school districts.

Coronavirus testing is also still available at the BCHD campus at 514 N Prospect Ave., Redondo Beach. Learn more about Beach Cities Health District on the website: https://www.bchd.org/.
As Los Angeles moves into red tier this week and eyes orange tier, vaccinations are also opening up for more eligible groups, including health care workers, staff and residents at skilled nursing homes and long term facilities, residents 65 years old and older, people working in education and childcare, emergency services, food and agriculture, people with serious health conditions and disabilities, transportation and logistics and janitorial, custodial and maintenance services.
