Need To See Fireworks In Person? Head To Los Alamitos Tonight
Just a quick trip south on the 405 freeway is a drive-up in-person fireworks show on the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — As the sound of fireworks continues during July 4th in Manhattan Beach neighborhoods [and it's not even dark yet], there is an in-person fireworks show folks can get to. The Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, just south of Long Beach, is holding a "Drive-Up 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular," with entrance gates opening at 7:15 p.m. The fireworks extravaganza begins at 9 p.m.
