Neighborhood Pop-Up Meetings On Peck Reservoir In Manhattan Beach

Demolition has begun on the Peck Reservoir Project in East Manhattan Beach. Here's how you can find out more about the project in person.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Demolition has begun on the Peck Reservoir Project and residents who'd like more information are encouraged to meet with the Construction Information Team, Trisha Murakawa and Joshua Melendez, in person today [Wednesday, Nov. 4], Thursday, Nov. 5 and this Saturday, No. 7 at the corner of Peck Avenue and 19th Street.

Murakawa and Melendez, who will serve as the main contact points throughout the construction project, will have refreshments [coffee, donuts, cupcakes and the like] available at the neighborhood pop-up meetings where neighbors can meet them and learn about the construction project.

The first neighborhood pop-ups were just last week but they will be ongoing over the next two years, according to Gilbert Gamboa, senior civil engineer for the City of Manhattan Beach.
