MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The use of outdoor dining decks has been extended through Labor Day. The Manhattan Beach City Council voted to extend permission for restaurants to continue using their temporary outdoor dining areas.

The council approved unanimously that restaurants would stop serving on the temporary outdoor areas at the end of the day, Monday, September 6, and would have them dismantled by Friday, September 10.

There is a small group of temporary dining patios that would be extended through July 5. Those decks affected are the Strand House, Rock'N Fish, Brewco, and Shellback Tavern.
