Manhattan Beach Police confirm they are aware of protesters marching on Rosecrans Avenue near Parkview in Manhattan Beach.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Update: A peaceful protest for "Black Lives Matter" has concluded in Manhattan Beach. Manhattan Beach Police Department Community Affairs Sergeant and Press Information Officer Tim Zins told Manhattan Beach Patch, "The protest has concluded. All protestors have left the area. No police contact or significant events."

Protesters holding signs reading "Black Lives Matter" are walking on the sidewalks of Rosecrans Avenue near Manhattan Village, according to reports. The Manhattan Beach Police Department has confirmed they are aware of the protesters and monitoring the situation.

Said Community Affairs Sergeant and Press Information Officer Tim Zins, "We are monitoring it and are ready if it [the protest] becomes a problem." He said police estimate about 40-50 protesters are marching.
