Pumpkin Carving Contest In Manhattan Beach Hosted By Love & Salt
Know how to carve a pumpkin? Love & Salt restaurant in downtown Manhattan Beach wants to reward skilled carvers and is holding a contest.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Do you really know how to carve a pumpkin? Well, find your pumpkin, think about what you want to create, grab your carving tool and carve your way to a win!
Love & Salt restaurant in downtown Manhattan Beach is holding a Socially-Distanced Pumpkin Carving Contest for ages 3 to adult. But carving is all they want. No decorations, no paint. Just carving.
To enter the free contest, download complete the submission form found online between Sunday, Oct. 18 and Thursday, Oct. 22. And start carving. Pumpkins entered in the carving contest will need to be dropped off at Love & Salt on Thursday, Oct. 22 and Friday, Oct. 23. One entrant per pumpkin and entered pumpkins will be displayed on Love & Salt's outdoor dining deck. Winners will be announced on Friday, Oct. 30.

You will be asked to upload photos of your entry and include a photo of it lit up by a candle or other light source as well as photos of the pumpkin unlit. Judges are looking for "originality, craftsmanship, and possibly humor," according to the Love & Salt website.
Love & Salt advises, "Don't delay, start carving right away! But DON’T carve too soon that the pumpkin rots and is unable to be displayed."
