Santa Golf Cart Parade In Manhattan Beach This Sunday, Nov. 15

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Just when you thought the holiday season might be dark and bleary, Santa and the Manhattan Beach Golf Cart Crew are holding a golf cart parade this Sunday, Nov. 15 during the 26th Annual Holiday Open House.

Manhattan Beach resident and founder of the MB Golf Cart Crew Shawn Giaconi is staging this event on the heels of her first golf cart parade event in Manhattan Beach a few weeks ago. That parade, the 1st Annual Halloween Golf Cart Parade had more than 40 participating golf carts and brought joy and laughter to those who lined the sidewalks to see it.

Santa will ride in the Downtown Vehicle of Joy to wish drive-by greetings to one and all! Golf cart riders can RSVP via email and are encouraged to festively decorate their carts and themselves. Spectators are asked to please remain socially distant and wear masks at all times, except when drinking or eating.

The Downtown Manhattan Beach Business + Professional Association, which is hosting the 26th Annual Holiday Open House Saturday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 15, will be sponsoring prizes for three categories of decorations:

• Most Festive - $100 gift card to Simmzy's
• Most Creative - $100 gift card to {pages} a bookstore
• Most Local Love for MB - $100 gift card to Trilogy Spa

Golf carts should meet at 12 noon at 17th Street near Pacific Elementary School in Manhattan Beach. Post-parade celebrations will take place in downtown MB and E3 Vehicles of Hermosa Beach is providing two hours of free parking to golf carts in the Manhattan Beach City Hall parking garage off of 15th Street.
