MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —What a great day to hit the surf! Here's your outlook on conditions for Friday from Surfline via the South Bay Dawn Patrol.
Consistent, peaky surf is running in the thigh-waist-stomach high range, while better southerly exposures from the Manhattan to Venice/Santa Monica zone are hitting chest high.
The surf size will gradually edge down during the day as the NW swell eases.

Light to moderate westerly winds, mainly staying under 10kts, will ruffle conditions over the afternoon. The onshores are due to lighten up by the evening.
The tide will drop to a 2.4' low at 2:45 p.m, then heads for a 5.8' high at 9 p.m.
