MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —It's a great day to hit the surf. Here's your outlook on surf conditions for Friday from Surfline via the South Bay Dawn Patrol.

The surf size will gradually edge upward at exposures during the day as more SW swell moves in.

There will be light to moderate westerly winds which will ruffle conditions most of the afternoon.

The onshore winds are due to ease by the evening.

The tide will dip to a low of 2.4' at 2:10 p.m., then head for a 5.7' high at 8:30 p.m. This will cause bogging down of waves late in the day.
