What's Your 'Pierspective'? Iconic MB Pier Celebrates 100 Years
Manhattan Beach wouldn't be the same without its landmark pier, which gets a 'Pierspective' virtual art exhibit to celebrate 100 years.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Beach Pier is one of the city's most-loved and most-recognized landmarks and to celebrate its 100 years of existence, the city's Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating with a "Pierspective," a community art exhibition. The live virtual exhibit will open on July 13 and all submissions are due by Friday, June 12.
Artists and creative types can submit their perspective of the iconic pier in a variety of mediums: photography, paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures or other media. Submissions should include an element of the pier.
To have your artwork considered for the "Pierspective" exhibition, please complete, sign and return an art submission application (PDF) with a photo of your artwork and description of how it relates to the Manhattan Beach Pier. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications must include a photo of the artwork you are submitting.
