Wind Advisory In Effect In Manhattan Beach Until Wednesday

The advisory will remain in effect from Tuesday at 8 p.m. until Wednesday at noon.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach is under a wind advisory from Tuesday at 8 p.m. until Wednesday at noon and will affect communities along the Los Angeles coast, according to the National Weather Service.

Peak gusts could reach as high as 40-60 mph Tuesday night. Wind speeds are currently around 21 mph in Manhattan Beach and will increase as the day progresses.

Please take care during this event. High winds may result in downed trees and power lines, hazardous sea conditions, and power outages. Drivers are advised to go slowly and watch for loose debris blown onto the streets.
