Here's The Latest Crime Report From Manhattan Beach Police Dept.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Crime in Manhattan Beach was fairly absent from December 28- through January 3, according to a crime report released today by the Manhattan Beach Police Department. The reports lists 11 incidents, two of which were shoplifting with one catalytic converter stolen and an attempted auto theft.

The two shoplifting incidents were on Monday, Dec. 28 and both in the 1500 block of Rosecrans Avenue. The attempted auto theft happened on Tuesday, Dec. 29 in the 100 block of 14th Street and the catalytic converter was stolen on Thursday, Dec. 31 in the 500 block of 26th Street.

An auto theft did occur on Monday, Dec. 28 in the 3600 block of The Strand. The grand theft of a motorcycle happened on Wednesday, Dec. 29 in the 1200 block of North Valley Drive. Three burglaries, one classified as residential, took place on Wednesday, Dec. 29: the residential burglary in the 600 block of Rosecrans Avenue; another in the 1500 block of North Redondo Avenue. The third burglary happened on Friday, Jan. 1 in the 1400 block of Parkview Avenue.

An assault incident occurred on Thursday, Dec. 31 in the 1000 block of The Strand. On Saturday, Jan. 2, an assault took place when an individual used a vehicle to ram a Manhattan Beach Police vehicle. RELATED: Suspected DUI Driver Rams Manhattan Beach Police Vehicle
