$50K Reward Offered For Info On Suspect Who Robbed Mail Carrier

The robbery occurred March 27 in the 4100 block of Beethoven Street of Marina del Rey, according to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

MARINA DEL REY, CA – A $50,000 reward was being offered Thursday for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect who robbed a mail carrier near Marina del Rey.

The robbery occurred about 11:30 a.m. March 27 in the 4100 block of Beethoven Street, according to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

The suspect fled north on Beethoven in a black, 2004-06 model year Honda Accord with dark-tinted windows.

He was described as Hispanic, 25-27 years old, 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 140-150 pounds, with a light complexion. He was wearing a white T-shirt, a plaid cotton jacket and a New York Yankees baseball cap.

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity or whereabouts was urged to call postal inspectors at (877) 876-2455, select option 2 and reference case number 2597825.
