Clouds Gathering, Santa's Minion, and the Marine Landscape

Clouds are expected to fill the sky Wednesday afternoon.

Today is December 21. It is the 355th day of the year. We are under a waning crescent moon. Sunset will occur about 4:49 p.m. Here are five things to know:

1. The National Weather Service forecast calls for a high of 63 this afternoon, but increasing clouds are expected to inhabit the sky. However, there is a zero percent chance of afternoon rain. Tonight, temperatures will reach a low of 45 and residents can expect some patchy fog after 10 p.m. with a 20 percent chance of rain.
