Condo Prices in Marina Del Rey Dropping: Report

The median price in Marina Del Rey saw a 3 percent drop in the fourth quarter 2016 compared to 2015.

MARINA DEL REY, CA -- While some condo prices in the Los Angeles area are rising, in Marina Del Rey, however, they are dropping, according to a recent report by the Multiple Listing Service.

The median price in Marina Del Rey saw a 3 percent drop in the fourth quarter 2016 compared to 2015, according to the MLS.

Some areas, however, saw a price increase of more than 30 percent. Those areas are Ladera Heights, Bel-Air/Holmby Hills and Silver Lake/Echo Park. Those areas saw media sale prices increased by over 30 percent, according to the report.

Other areas of Los Angeles, however, didn't fare as as well. Malibu Beach, Cheviot Hills-Rancho Park, South Inglewood, and Cypress Park, all saw a 100 percent decrease in median prices, according to the report.
