Fire Damages House In Westchester Area

A fire damaged a single-family house in the Westchester area Wednesday, but no one was injured, officials said.

WESTCHESTER, CA — A fire damaged a single-family house in the Westchester area Wednesday, but no one was injured, officials said.

Firefighters sent to the 6400 block of West Riggs Place, just south of West Centinela Avenue, at 7:35 a.m. knocked the flames in 25 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Arson investigators were responding to the incident.
