High-Pressure System Stymies Storm For Marina Del Rey

A storm expected to hit the LA region petered out due to a high-pressure system in the east, leaving cool temps and slight chance of drizzle

Marina Del Rey, CA — A storm expected to bring another round of rain to Marina Del Rey Tuesday stalled due to a high-pressure system to the east, according to the National Weather Service.

Officials had forecast rain for the Los Angeles region and 1 to 7 inches of snow in the local mountains, but as of Monday night, the storm seemed unlikely to appear. At most, the region may see light drizzle, but overcast skies are more likely Tuesday, according to the weather service

Temperatures in the region are expected to remain cool, hovering in the upper 50s and low 60s all week along the coast and hitting the upper 60s inland in Los Angeles County.
