L.A. Mexican Restaurant Featured Tonight On Gordon Ramsay

LOS ANGELES, CA – La Serenata de Garibaldi, a family-owned Mexican restaurant in Rancho Park, will be featured on Wednesday evening's episode of "Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back" at 9 p.m. on Fox.

The premise of Ramsay's fourth series on Fox this season is that Ramsay and his team have 24 hours to turn around a struggling restaurant.

"The 24-hour ticking clock for the fix and renovation adds a natural urgency to the action," executive producer Chris Brogden told City News Service.

Ramsay first sends in a team to secretly record at the restaurant. Next, Ramsay goes into the restaurant in disguise to experience the food and the service himself.

"Gordon was aware that when restaurants knew he was coming they cleaned up their acts," Brogden said. "By sending him there in disguise he gets to see the whole truth."

Then Ramsay and his team transform the restaurant with renovations and new menus, with Ramsay teaching the staff the new menu in his mobile kitchen, dubbed "Hell On Wheels."

The episodes conclude with the re-openings of the restaurant to the public.

For La Serenata de Garibaldi, service was diagnosed as its biggest issue with Ramsay assisting in improving their customer service skills.

The restaurant touts its renovations by Ramsay and new menu on its website.

Wednesday's episode is the fifth in the series' eight-episode first season. Fox announced it ordered a second season after the first two episodes aired.

La Serenata de Garibaldi is located at 10924 West Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles.
