New Luxury Apartments in Marina Del Rey Expect June Completion

A new luxury apartment complex with attached retail space in Marina Del Rey is expected to be completed this month, developers announced Tuesday.

STELLA, a 244-unit apartment complex with an attached 9,000 square feet of retail space, will open across the street from the newly-renovated Marina Marketplace and will also feature the Peruvian restaurant Paichẽ.

In a statement, developers touted the property's luxurious amenities as well as its proximity to the marina, shops and restaurants in the area.

"At STELLA, residents will arrive home, park their cars and walk everywhere - allowing an escape from the infamous Los Angeles traffic," GLJ Partners director Luke Daniels said in a release.

Among other things, the common areas of the new apartments will feature a heated saltwater pool with attached white sand beach, private pet-friendly park, high-end catering kitchen, private film screening room, dog washing station and a DIY repair and maintenance shop.

The apartments range in size from studio apartments to three-story townhomes. Developers said rent for a studio apartment begins at $2490 per month and rises from there to $4500 a month for the larger townhomes.
