UPDATE: One Connected to Westside Runners Group Injured in Marathon Blasts
A Redondo Beach resident is due back in Los Angeles Tuesday after he was hurt in Monday's Boston Marathon explosions.

The husband of a Westside runners group leader was injured in the Boston Marathon explosions Monday, his wife said Tuesday.
Jac Bost, a leader of the Meetup.com group, ChristianRunners LA Chapter (Marina del Rey), emailed Patch that her husband was being stablized so he could fly back to California.Â
"We have our hands full at the moment," she wrote.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Bost's husband is Darrel Folker, 42, of Redondo Beach. He is expected back to Los Angeles Tuesday night, Bost told the newspaper.
Folker, an ultramarathoner who was not racing on Monday, was watching his wife finishing the race when the second explosion occurred. Two people rushed to help her husband, Bost told the Times.Â

“Those guys were just amazing," Bost said, adding, "I sent them a thank-you message today from my phone and exchanged text messages with them."
When first contacted by Patch Monday, Bost said: "I was there and was affected. We are a bit numb still."
The ChristianRunners chapter run in Marina del Rey, Santa Monica and Venice locations. The group is scheduled to meet next on Saturday.
Bost is a multiple marathon runner and helped found the ChristianRunners LA group in August 2007. Writing on the Bar Method (Marina del Rey) blog in January 2011, Bost talked about living with multiple sclerosis, an auto-immune disease, since diagnosed in 2006.
"My faith is my foundation in accepting the journey of MS, and it helps me approach every day grateful and thankful in a whole new way," Bost wrote.
