Partly Sunny Afternoons, Del Rey Day and Blog for Patch

The National Weather Service says we can expect mostly sunny afternoons today and Wednesday.

Today is Nov. 15. It is the 319th day of the year. We are under a waning gibbous moon. Sunset will occur about 4:52 p.m. Here are five things to know:

1. The National Weather Service forecast for this afternoon calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 63 degrees with patchy fog late tonight and an overnight low around 50 degrees. Forecasters expect patchy fog Wednesday morning that will gradually clear to partly sunny with a high near 64 degrees.

2. The eighth annual Del Rey Day was celebrated over the weekend to help spread the word about the Del Rey Neighborhood Council. Details right here.

3. Attention cyclists: There's a public hearing Wednesday morning on the Los Angeles County Bicycle Master Plan. It starts at 9 a.m. at the Hall of Records downtown. More details right here.

4. Do you have an event coming up that you'd like to promote on Patch? If so, we have a video tutorial to help get your events on Marina del Rey Patch - for free. Details right here.

5. Patch is looking for bloggers. We recently rolled out a new blogging platform and are looking for local bloggers to write about whatever they want, whenever they want. If you're interested or want to learn more, send me an email: Paul.Chavez@patch.com.
