Shark Attacks Marina del Rey Man in Hawaii
The shark bit the man's leg and he was taken to the hospital.

A 58-year-old Marina del Rey man suffered deep lacerations to his leg after a shark attacked him on Tuesday off the west coast of Maui, according to Maui County officials.
When the incident occurred around 8:30 a.m., surfers were evacuated from the water and the beach, in front of 110 Ka`anapali Shores Place, was closed for a mile in both directions.
The shark left a six-inch bite outline on the man’s thigh and he was taken to the Maui Memorial Medical Center for treatment.

The victim said the shark’s head was the size of a basketball and lifeguards believe a reef shark attacked him, according to Hawaii News Now.
