Sunny Afternoons, Roadmap to Housing and Blog for Patch
The National Weather Service says it will be warm and sunny today.

Today is Aug. 25. It is the 237th day of the year. We are under a waning crescent moon. Sunset will occur about 7:30 p.m. Here are five things to know:
1. The National Weather Service forecast for this afternoon calls for sunny skies with a high near 71 degrees with patchy fog after 11 pm. and an overnight low around 65 degrees.

3. The Los Angeles Department of Water & Power is holding a live webcast of its rates summary session tonight at 6 p.m., to discuss the 2011 rates process. LADWP customers also have the opportunity to attend the meeting in person at LADWP headquarters downtown. More details right here.
